Gabar has five fragrances in its core collection.

The first three come from Myanmar, where the brand has its roots. The last two are the Urban Collection, written for New York, where it first set up shop. This set is all five, in 2ml.

01 Float — a dark, herbaceous floral with an edge, inspired by the still waters of Inle Lake. Jasmine and orange blossom against amber and tobacco absolute. Spray to calm and centre.

02 Ground — creamy and woody, drawn from Bagan, Myanmar's ancient capital. Oud, sandalwood and cedarwood with saffron and pink pepper. Warm, smoky, rooted in the present.

03 Swim — lush and fig-centred, born from the jungles of Hpa-An. Blackcurrant bud and wild fig over a mossy base of cedarwood and amber. Spray to encourage creativity and flow.

04 (Nolita)/Rise — the city morning. Juniper and pink pepper opening into lavender, cypress and lily of the valley. Crisp air in the face, the city starting to hum. Spray for self-expansion.

05 (Ludlow)/Lull  — the city evening. Orange blossom and black tea into red apple, cherry and rose, resting on sandalwood and white musk. That moment of unwinding.
