Meridian Perfumery is a Vancouver-based online fragrance shop that centres niche and independent perfumes from underrepresented perspectives.
You don’t need to be a fragrance expert to be here, just a nose and a bit of curiosity.
Why we exist
The perfume conversation has often centred a narrow slice of voices. Yet, there is an extensive range of perfumers and brands crafting beautiful scents outside of "heritage houses".
Meridian is one small bridge between those fragrances and Canadians who are curious about the wider world of perfume or are seeking scents with profiles that are more familiar to them.
We are here to make it easier to find and fall in love with work that’s often underrepresented but deeply worthy.
About the founder
Meridian Perfumery is founded by Jenn, a Chinese-Canadian fragrance lover based in Vancouver. The idea for Meridian really took shape while experiencing Chinese perfumes and feeling like “I never knew this existed”.
This is a tiny, growing business:
- Canada-only shipping (for now)
- Curated in small quantities
- A lot of learning in public
- A founder who is building this slowly and carefully
