In Altay, in the northern part of Xinjiang, the village was sealed off by heavy snow, with fluffy snowflakes falling gently upon one. Far beyond the northern frontier, tenderness is held still by the cold. In that vast, pale land, softness does not disappear. It becomes quieter, clearer, preserved like breath in winter air. This fragrance is a gentle hush of emotion beneath frost, where warmth lingers even in the most distant silence.

I recently discovered Altay’s Snow from Chinese fragrance house Soulvent, and I’m so glad I did. ❄️🤍

This is such a beautiful, delicate fragrance. It wears light and airy on my skin, with a soft, intimate quality that makes it incredibly easy to reach for. What really impressed me is how different it feels from the other skin scents in my collection, it has its own personality rather than feeling like another version of something I already own.

Altay’s Snow has been such a lovely introduction to Soulvent, and it has absolutely made me curious to explore more from this house.
